Freedom Children’s Social Care provides children’s services to Local Authorities and families in Dorset.
Our support services are designed to provide specialist one-to-one advice and practical support for a wide range of developmental needs and complex issues. We work with children and young people with mental health challenges, disabilities, and additional needs, including Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC/ASD), Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
We offer a variety of services to support families and young people in Dorset, including family coaching, supervised and supported contact, life story work, and tutoring and mentoring for teenagers struggling in traditional education settings. Additionally, we provide short breaks and respite care for parents and carers. Freedom Children’s Social Care also specialises in staffing for children’s homes and SEN (Special Educational Needs) schools, ensuring the highest standards of care and education. Our services are available to young people up to the age of 25.
Our targeted work covers universal, early help and high-level need or protection. We use a task centred approach designed to help children, young people, carers, and parents to achieve specific, measurable, and achievable goals.
We operate in Bournemouth, Poole, Dorchester, Blandford Forum, Shaftesbury, Weymouth, Lyme Regis, Bridport and beyond.
