Family Support Team

Our family workers come from a wide variety of backgrounds and bring a rich set of skills and experience to each family we work with. Once we have understood the family’s needs we will create a team that can best support them to meet agreed objectives and outcomes during a period of planned intervention work.

It goes without saying our family intervention teams are vetted and trained to the highest standards, we have a clear policy for recruitment, retention, training and supervision of the team.

Our method of tracking progress in real time, on a minute by minute basis gives everyone a clear insight into progress and any challenges faced thereby allowing evidenced based decisions to made.

Staff Qualifications

Staff all have various training and relevant qualifications in childcare, including YP & Complex Needs, Prevent, Channel Awareness, Safeguarding Level 3, FGM. First Aid, Self-Harm, Drug & Alcohol Abuse, ASD & ADHD, Mental Health Awareness.

All staff chosen for the family intervention support work have extensive experience working with challenging behaviour, including absconding, PTSD, attachment disorders, mental health, drug taking and other emotional instabilities.
